Eligibility

The standard route requires registration in the individual's own name; nominee holdings use a separate request/evidence route. Earlier thresholds apply only to continued eligibility for cards issued before 1 April 2022.

Minimum holding

From 1 April 2022, the current alternatives are at least 1,000 A ordinary shares, at least 1,000 C ordinary shares, or at least 10,000 B ordinary shares. For individuals issued a card before 1 April 2022, continued eligibility instead requires at least 500 A ordinary shares, at least 500 C ordinary shares, or at least 5,000 B ordinary shares. This legacy rule is not a lower threshold for new applications.

Holding method

The standard direct-registration case requires the qualifying shares in the individual's own name on the Register of Members. Nominee/intermediary holdings do not receive cards automatically; request through the nominee or provide ownership evidence to the Shareholder Inndulgence team.

Practical information

Proof of shareholding: Direct registered holdings are checked against the Register of Members. Nominee holders may request through their nominee or provide evidence of ownership to the issuer's team; the issuer may contact the nominee to confirm holdings. The reviewed pages do not prescribe a specific evidence document.
Duration or qualifying period: Subject to continuing eligibility, checked at least annually on 1 January. Cards are deactivated when eligibility ceases; the issuer may decline issue, cancel a card or suspend the scheme.

Before applying

The food/drink discount is 15% at participating managed pubs and hotels, including Bel & The Dragon, Cotswold Inns & Hotels and Lovely Pubs, subject to the exclusions below.
The accommodation discount is 15% on the Best Flexible Rate or Standard Flexible B&B Rate at qualifying bedrooms by Fuller's, Bel & The Dragon and Lovely Pubs managed hotels. It does not apply to Cotswold Inns & Hotels accommodation.
Accommodation must be booked online via fullershotels.com, belandthedragon.co.uk or barasetbarn.co.uk, or by telephone using the discount code supplied with the card or requested from the issuer's team. Present the card at check-in. Food/drinks charged to a room receive no discount.
For joint holdings, one individual receives the card: the nominated holder, or the first-named holder if no nomination is made. Holdings registered to executors, trustees or corporate entities do not qualify for a card.
The reviewed terms took effect on 10 June 2025. Continued eligibility is checked at least annually on 1 January, including the separate legacy-card rule.

Important limitations

The food/drink benefit covers the card bearer and guests for a party of no more than 12; larger events are excluded. No food/drink discount on Mother's Day or Christmas Day.
Franchise food exclusions currently name Admiral Nelson, Churchill Arms, Crown & Sceptre, Elephant Inn, Forester (Ealing), Latymers, Old Pack Horse, Prince Albert and Sun & 13 Cantons. The venue list may change; check current issuer terms before use.
Present the physical card at payment; a photograph, copy or card number alone is insufficient. The card is non-transferable. Its named bearer must be present throughout the meal, event or stay and at payment; identity checks may be requested.
The card cannot be combined with other offers or discounts. The issuer may change terms, cancel cards or suspend the scheme; confirm current rules with Fuller's before applying or booking.

How to apply

The official card page contains a card-request form and directs enquiries to the Shareholder Inndulgence team, including telephone 020 8996 2000. Eligible certificated shareholders receive a personalised card at their registered address in January unless they already have a card and remain eligible; requests can also be made at other times. Nominee/intermediary holders must use the separate nominee request or ownership-evidence route. The current page says cards are processed at the end of each month.

Apply only through the issuer's site. Actionary Club does not collect brokerage statements or proof of ownership.
