Eligibility
Hold at least 500 Marston’s shares on 30 November each year. Only one booklet is issued per shareholder per year. The old Privilege card is no longer accepted.
Minimum holding
500 shares at the annual qualifying date, not simply at the time you order a meal. No additional minimum holding period is stated.
Holding method
Direct holdings with the share registrar and bank/broker nominee holdings are covered. The application route differs; some intermediaries distribute the vouchers themselves.
Practical information
- Proof of shareholding
- The voucher page specifies no standard bank certificate, age limit or file format. Ask your bank/broker what evidence it needs for a nominee holding. For direct holdings, keep your registrar record and postal address up to date with Equiniti.
- Duration or qualifying period
- Annual eligibility and dated vouchers apply, rather than a permanent discount card. Published terms cover 2 January–30 November 2026. The reviewed page does not yet give the next booklet’s validity dates.
Before applying
- Calendar: as checked on 23 October 2026, current published vouchers run from 2 January to 30 November 2026. Under the recurring rule, the next qualifying date is 30 November 2026. That does not establish a right to the current booklet for someone first qualifying now. Next-issue dispatch and 2027 validity dates are not yet published on the reviewed page.
- Use: present the voucher when ordering in a participating pub. The discount applies to food, not drinks or accommodation. One voucher covers one transaction for up to eight guests; splitting a bill to obtain several discounts is prohibited. Check participation with the issuer’s venue finder and the chosen pub before travel.
- From France: the terms state no UK-residence requirement, but do not guarantee dispatch to France or processing by a French broker. Confirm postal delivery, accepted evidence and intermediary deadlines before relying on this benefit. Use is at participating UK pubs; no French venue is identified in the reviewed sources. Official procedures are in English.
- Timing and costs: no fixed processing or delivery time, booklet fee or international-postage tariff is published. Ask the intermediary or issuer about any handling or shipping charges. Share dealing, custody, foreign-exchange and travel costs remain separate.
Important limitations
- Not valid on bank holidays, Mother’s Day, Easter Sunday or Father’s Day. Cannot be combined with another offer, discount or promotion. Vouchers are non-transferable, have no cash value and must not be copied, forged, damaged or defaced. Marston’s may change or discontinue the offer.
How to apply
If you hold through a bank or stockbroker, contact it first to request the shareholder booklet and confirm its handling deadline. For direct holdings, Marston’s says the booklet is sent automatically after the qualifying date. For unresolved questions, contact investorrelations@marstons.co.uk; share-register queries go to Equiniti.
Apply only through the issuer's site. Actionary Club does not collect brokerage statements or proof of ownership.
