Eligibility

The issuer offers one booklet per year to shareholders regardless of holding size, subject to the annual qualifying date. Direct holdings and holdings through a nominee are covered. The reviewed rules state no UK residence requirement, but do not explicitly confirm delivery to France.

Minimum holding

The one-share threshold follows the FAQ’s statement that all shareholders qualify regardless of holding size; it is not a separately published numerical threshold. No minimum holding period is stated, but the annual qualifying date applies. Fractional-share arrangements are not addressed.

Holding method

Shares may be recorded directly with Equiniti or held through a nominee, such as a bank or broker. A nominee holding requires a request to that intermediary first; the ability to trade the shares does not establish that a broker handles the vouchers.

Practical information

Proof of shareholding
If your nominee will not request the booklet for you, Mitchells & Butlers requires proof of share ownership before sending it. The FAQ gives no prescribed document format, maximum age, translation rule or France-specific evidence requirement. Confirm what is accepted with shareholdervouchers@mbplc.com; ask your intermediary what it can supply.
Duration or qualifying period
One booklet is issued per shareholder per year. Eligibility follows each annual qualifying date; this is not a permanent membership card. The linked terms state expiry on 31 January each year without naming a voucher year. Check the expiry on your own booklet; the reviewed sources do not establish a specific 2026/2027 booklet’s validity dates.

Before applying

  • Using a voucher: show the original before ordering, or enter its code before payment for order-at-table or click-and-collect through the group’s websites or app. The reduction cannot be added afterwards. One voucher covers up to ten guests; larger parties need more vouchers. Every guest must order a main meal; breakfast and set menus qualify, buffets do not.
  • Where to use it: the terms cover managed Mitchells & Butlers businesses, excluding Innkeeper’s Collection, and link to the official pub finder. The group’s UK brands include All Bar One, Harvester, Toby Carvery and Browns. Check the chosen venue and meal before visiting; brand membership alone is not confirmation that every purchase qualifies.
  • Annual calendar: the qualifying date changes and usually falls in late November or early December. The FAQ recommends having shares recorded with Equiniti or the nominee by 20 November; this is a precaution, not the announced record date. Booklets normally arrive in late December or early January. As checked on 22 October 2026, the reviewed pages give no specific next qualifying date or guaranteed dispatch date. Do not treat the overview’s undated December mailing notice as a new campaign announcement.
  • Access from France: the reviewed rules do not expressly exclude French residents, but do not guarantee international delivery or assistance from a French broker. Before relying on the benefit, confirm the French mailing address, delivery arrangements, accepted evidence and any intermediary deadline with your nominee or the issuer. No participating venue in France is identified by the reviewed sources; plan use around a confirmed eligible venue, for example during a UK visit. The official instructions are in English.
  • Timing and costs: no processing or international-delivery deadline, voucher membership fee or postage tariff is specified in the reviewed sources. This does not establish that every step is free. Ask your intermediary about document and handling charges and the issuer about delivery costs. Share purchase, custody, foreign-exchange and travel costs are separate and depend on your arrangements.

Important limitations

  • Vouchers cannot be used on Christmas Day or combined with other offers or loyalty discounts unless the other offer’s terms expressly allow it. Pay the bill in one transaction; it cannot be split. Photocopies are refused, redeemed vouchers are surrendered, and vouchers may neither be sold nor exchanged for cash.
  • A shareholding does not provide an immediately available discount: you need the appropriate booklet or code and must meet its qualifying and expiry dates. The sources reviewed do not guarantee France delivery, a next-year issue date or a fixed processing time. Confirm the current booklet’s terms before use.

How to apply

For directly registered shares, check that Equiniti holds your correct address and qualifying holding. For nominee-held shares, request the booklet from your bank or broker first. Only if the nominee will not apply for you, contact shareholdervouchers@mbplc.com with proof of ownership. If you hold certificated shares and have not received the booklet by the end of February, the FAQ directs you to the same email. These are issuer/intermediary steps; Actionary does not collect documents.

Apply only through the issuer's site. Actionary Club does not collect brokerage statements or proof of ownership.
